Wallpaper – not just for walls anymore
Of course the biggest impact for your space is furniture. If you’re living that dorm life you don’t get much of a choice – but don’t worry, we have some fun decor ideas for you to utilize. College apartments, however, offer a little more leeway. And what’s a better way to bond with roommates than furniture shopping and upcycling?

Or if you happen to be working with a little extra in the budget, you can always take a piece of furniture and have it re-upholstered. Or if you’re brave, try the re-upholstering process yourself with some help from Pinterest or a Youtube video!

Wooden furniture, such as dressers, coffee tables, nightstands, and end tables, are easily transformable with a few coats of paint in your favorite color, or the addition of wallpaper or scrapbook paper.

So making sure you have some good lighting, that looks great too, is important. And boy do we have some lamps! The great thing about most lamps is that a new lampshade and a coat of paint can bring something back to life.
